The Author

Katelyn Brown is a fifteen old high school sophomore, currently residing in the beautiful Pacific Northwest state of Oregon. She lives with her parents, and younger brother, and her cat, Max.

Katelyn has written dozens of short stories, including "Runaway" and "Nine Candles". The first story Katelyn wrote was when she was six years old, called "Snow White and the One Dwarf". Last spring, Katelyn started outlining her series Voyager's Children, which she hopes to continue for a long time.

Katelyn enjoys writing short stories, poems, and would like to write a full-length novel someday. For right now, she is content writing short stories and jotting down ideas for her future great American novel.

Besides writing, Katelyn enjoys reading, watching TV and movies, talking with her friends, shopping and acting. Her favorite books are Sharon Creech's Walk Two Moons and Betty Smith's A Tree Grows In Brooklyn.
